Responsibility:

This position is for someone with at least three years of experience in access control, time and attendance, biometrics, intercom systems and intrusion, with a solid grounding in general IT skills.

Must be technically minded, reliable, have good communication skills, pay attention to detail and must be accountable.

This is not an entry level position and only support technicians with proven experience with Impro Technologies access control and IDEMIA (ex-Sagem Morpho) biometric hardware and software solutions, and general time and attendance will be considered.

Candidate:

Candidate must be based in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Professional conduct and attitude.

Good communication skills.

Customer-centric and service driven.

Valid Code B South African driver’s licence.

Relevant IT/technical certifications (A+ and N+ or similar is a minimum requirement).

Industry certifications (accredited installer) would be beneficial.

Minimum of 3 years’ working experience with:

- Client facing on-site and remote support.

- Impro access control solutions (hardware and software).

- IDEMIA (ex-Sagem Morpho) biometric solutions (hardware and software).

- Time and attendance.

- Intrusion systems knowledge and experience.

- General IT support.

- General networking management and support.

- Database management – intermediate SQL knowledge.

IT and technically minded with a proven track record of working under pressure.

Logical troubleshooting skills with the will to succeed are imperative.

Ability to work independently but still be very much part of a widespread team.

Willing to take on additional tasks as the needs of the business change.

Own transport is essential.

Intercom, CCTV and camera knowledge and experience are desirable.
