Responsibility:

Provide exceptional first line technical support assistance to clients on all ET Nice and Hansa products.

Attend daily to all first line technical support calls, including internal customers and external customers, end users (public) and trade (installers) nationally and internationally.

Follow up on calls not dealt with on the same day and give feedback to the customer telephonically or via email.

Assist daily with website submissions and ensure all submissions have been dealt with.

Provide independent training (product, technical specifications, commissioning of products) to external and/or internal customers.

Assist with mechanical repairs (gate and garage door operators).

Assist with general administrative tasks within the department and stand in for an employee when absent to assist with day-to-day operational and administrative tasks.

Capture daily details of queries and ensure they are followed up with comments on progress.

Assist daily with walk-in customers, conduct yourself in a professional manner, and comply with company values (be open, be different, be easy, be responsible).

Escalate any unresolved complaints or queries to management immediately, with a full status report on the customer.

Ensure that established communication processes are utilised within the department and that all role-players are informed about a problem a customer might have, the progress thereof and whether it has been resolved or not.

Identify and proactively report any risks within the department to your manager, e.g. assets (money, time, property) or customers.

Perform ad-hoc tasks within the department, if and when required.

Compile monthly reports that comply with company standards and requirements.

Candidate:

NQF 4, Matric or any other equivalent qualification.

1-3 years’ experience in a technical support services environment.
