Business development manager (projects)

Responsibility:

Business objectives: Results-oriented, task decomposition, business review.

Market insight: Rooted in the local market, grasp the market business structure of local projects, market capacity, industry potential opportunities, integrator customers, competitors and other relevant information with macro research.

Customer management: Customer attribution and maintenance, new customer development, customer relationship improvement, customer payment receivables; organise regular training to improve integrator loyalty to Dahua; customer cooperation programme signing.

Project management: Demand discovery, business opportunity reporting, strategy analysis, project bidding, project quotation, project follow-up, project acceptance.

Brand promotion: Actively guide and promote integrator customers to carry out Dahua brand marketing activities, such as exhibitions and promotion meetings, and participate in key industry forums, salons and other activities, and establish integrator/industry activity circles.

Marketing analysis and SWOT analysis: Report on output and update ‘Green Table’ and ‘Blue Table’ every month from named SI companies.

High level customer relationships: Monthly meetings with director level and management teams with named SI companies. Strong presentation skills. Great public speaking.

Customer account management: Synchronise daily customer visiting to GSP salesforce system. The average visit time should meet the target base for important SIs. Required to sign VSIP contracts with named SI companies. Project opportunities to be uploaded onto GSP system, reaching target, from named SI companies.

Sales targets: Achieve your sales targets set out by attaining sales from named SI companies.

Candidate:

Bachelor’s degree or above.

English/Afrikaans/African speaking.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, acute market induction ability.

Team player.

High work enthusiasm.

Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the security CCTV industry.

Required travel: Up to 80% of time spent.

Proven history of sales targets achieved.
