Responsibility:

Design and sell IT and security solutions to businesses/customers.

Generate and close self-sourced leads.

Work with the operations department to ensure smooth transition from quote to handover.

Identify potential new business/customers via leads, networking and cold calls.

Build and maintain customer relationships.

Manage pipeline through daily, weekly and monthly reporting.

Analyse site with client to establish what is required.

Research and develop a working solution to meet client requirements.

Advise clients on what solutions would best suit the requirements.

Negotiate pricing of suppliers to better margin.

Ensure that a full and formal kick-off meeting/handover is done with operations for deployment.

Coordinate with the operations department to ensure teams are assigned, stock gets delivered and installation is booked within the timeframe set out by the client.

Monitor progress of job/project and attend regular site visits to ensure deployment is according to design.

Ensure that all work done is documented for handover to client.

Schedule the required training for the clients (either done by you or outsourced).

Facilitate correction of service issues.

Provide after-sales services and client visits.

General communication with clients (by email and phone, including but not limited to updating clients, sending quotes, and contacting customers regularly).

Ensure that the client (and yourself) receives informative, detailed and consistent communication regarding the progress throughout the job/project from operations.

Upload quotes onto the relevant system (e.g. Umbrella, S-drive, Quick Quotes).

Maintain pipeline.

Assist with any account-related problems.

Candidate:

Extensive product knowledge on CCTV, access control, network and data, and power.

Own reliable vehicle.

Persuasion skills.

Proven sales track record.

Stable employment history.

4 years’ experience in industry.
