Responsibility:

Manage the team by setting clear targets and objectives, along with performance reviews.

Attend joint customer visits with the sales team to observe and provide feedback on sales technique (DAPA process) and customer selection.

Regular formal and informal communication with team to provide necessary support and direction.

Ensure personal and team knowledge of Paxton products and UK market activity is kept current and up to date.

Devise and work to annual budgets for sales revenue and regional expenditure.

Take responsibility for a customer set that will be directly managed by yourself.

Plan and execute strategy to take new products and services that Paxton offers to the market.

Ensure marketing efforts are coordinated with sales and focused on common goals by devising strategic plans to ensure successful campaigns and maximise the effectiveness of marketing to drive sales in general, making sure Paxton is ‘known’ in the industry and receives adequate press coverage where appropriate.

Work with distribution to ensure stock of Paxton products is located appropriately in the regions to support business development goals and warranty returns.

Candidate:

Proven record of accomplishment in technical/IT or security sales.

Solid experience managing and leading a sales team and hitting/exceeding targets.

Experience of the security industry would be advantageous but is not essential.

Strong ability to motivate and inspire others.
