Technical project manager for demo showroom vehicle

Responsibility:

Make guidance plan for how to use demo van.

Collect each regional area’s demo van applications, make demo van allocation plan.

Based on business development needs, cooperate with marketing team and product and solution team to arrange marketing events for demo van.

Coordinate and participate in each regional manager’s business plan for demo van.

Arrange training with all Dahua SA demo staff, arrange customer demo visits according to plan, perform demo van daily management, internal and external tidying, cleaning and disinfecting, report demo van issues.

Collect and implement each regional manager’s needs to lay out demo van visit report.

Demo van purchasing and insurance arrangements.

Outline related company regulations.

According to company policy and regulations, monitor management and usage of the demo van.

Keep on file all the related demo van documents and copies of drivers’ driving licences.

All required administrative support, i.e., PPE prepared, daily management support.

Assist in outlining and evaluating the regulations and follow regulations in daily demo van management.

Demo van daily operation and management, including demo van keys, application and arrangement handover with product and solution team, demo van training, demo van handover.

Before handover of the Demo Van, make sure to leave all relevant contact information and demo van marketing materials in the vehicle.

Report demo van condition and issues to related department, to make sure it is in normal working condition.

Collect usage report from each region after use and share it with the relevant department.

Candidate:

Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in computers, electronics or communication.

More than 5 years’ experience in the CCTV industry.

Marketing analysis and product planning experience.

Excellent leadership and team work.

Have technical background and plan and install the products and solutions.

Code 10 driver’s licence, knowledge of weighbridge processes (if required).

Technical abilities in security equipment.

Fault finding abilities.

Knowledge of basic electronics.

Comfortable with travelling away from home for extended periods.

Comfortable doing presentations when the need arises.

People skills.

Sales consultant

Responsibility:

Build and manage strong customer relationships with existing as well as new clients by engaging with the decision makers to uncover new opportunities to build an effective pipeline.

Identify new potential clients and promote sales by engaging weekly through calls, emails and visits to onboard new, relevant clients to the existing dealer base as well as work closely with the NB development consultant.

Set up meetings with decision makers and complete a post-visit email afterwards for every meeting.

Manage dealer base consistently by updating details frequently and analyse sales per product and category to promote a healthy spread of sales across all categories.

Service clients quickly, efficiently and professionally at all times.

Offer proficient technical advice.

Commit to mastering knowledge of the applications, features and benefits of all relevant product lines and solutions.

Accurately draft quotations and solutions based on the specific needs of clients through existing resources.

Articulate company's USP and product matrix to clients.

Drive a daily plan process with accurate feedback.

Reach daily call log targets.

Accurate monthly planning and execution thereof.

Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets by executing set expectations.

Candidate:

Grade 12 certificate.

Valid driver's licence.

Preference will be given to an N3 diploma or better qualification.

Preference will be given to a sales diploma or better.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ proven sales experience – preference will be given to electronic security industry experience.

• Strong technical/IT related sales knowledge – preference will be given to distribution experience.

• Must have worked with CRM systems or equivalent Excel-based processes.

• Strong Microsoft Office usage experience to promote planning and processes.

• Dealer base management experience and understanding of the sales process.

Remuneration: R10 000 - R20 000 basic, plus commission
